Albert Goldman letter 1937 August 25

Albert Goldman was Trotsky's lawyer, a top guy in the organization. He cross-examined Mercader, Trotsky's murderer in court. He defended the Minnesota 18 (he himself was one of the 18) who were sentenced to jail under the Smith sedition act in 1941 (including Jake Cooper, Henry's fellow guard from the compound). Here Goldman responds to a letter from Henry, then mentions that the Socialist Party is on a sure course to expel all the Trotskyists, and Henry should prepare all the comrades in Evansville for this outcome. Henry starts a letter, he doesnt finish this one, that assures Goldman that if they expel all the Trotskyists in Evansville, that is a total of one.
